English: Behrouz Boochani, Kurdish-Iranian journalist, writer and human rights defender, held in the Manus Island Regional Processing Centre by the Australian Government along with hundreds of other asylum seekers from 2013 until it closed in November 2017. After that, they were moved to other accommodation on Manus Island.
